As a public organisation with regulated procurement of over £5 million (excluding VAT) on goods and services every year, we’re bound by the requirements of The Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
The regulations cover the purchase of goods and services with an estimated value of £50,000 or more (excluding VAT) or public works contracts with an estimated value of £2 million (excluding VAT).
Current contracts in place at SPPA are listed on the Public Contracts Register, where you can search all public contracts in Scotland.
Our approach to buying goods and services
We regularly publish our procurement strategy and our latest three-year procurement strategy covers the period from 2019-2024. We also publish annual reports which show how our actual procurement activity meets our strategic goals.
