The SPPA is headed by a Chief Executive who is accountable to Scottish Ministers. There are a number of boards and corporate governance structures that support the SPPA and the Chief Executive in carrying out the agency's work. 

The Scottish Public Pensions Agency Framework Document gives further detail about the work of the SPPA and the governance arrangements. 

We are currently recruiting for the following posts: 

  • Chair, Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Management Advisory Board (at least 1 appointment) 
  • Member of the Management Advisory Board (at least 1 appointment) 
  • Member of the Audit and Risk Committee (at least 1 appointment) 
  • Vice-Chair, Public Sector Pension Board (1 appointment)
