We are launching pilot webinar series for members planning to retire in the next 12 months. Our ‘Ready for Retirement’ webinars are available for NHS, Teachers and Fire scheme members. For Police scheme members, we will contribute to the existing pre-retirement seminars provided by Police Scotland.
They will let you know what to expect when retiring and accessing your pension from SPPA, including information on upcoming changes to the process like the 2015 Remedy. You can find out more and sign up on our SPPA Events website page.
As this is a pilot, we are starting with a small number of sessions in August and will add more dates if there is interest. Recorded sessions will also be made available so don’t worry if you don’t get signed up right away.
