Sustainability Consultant

The Scottish Public Pensions Agency is an Agency of the Scottish Government. Our principal role is to administer the pensions for employees in the National Health Service, Teachers’, Police and Fire-fighters’ pension schemes in Scotland. The Agency administers these public service pension schemes on behalf of Scottish Ministers with an annual pension spend to over 200,000 pensioners of more than £2.5 billion.

We are committed to supporting the Scottish Government’s purpose of ‘increasing sustainable economic growth’. The Sustainability Consultant role will address the requirements for us to meet our contribution to Scottish Governments Environmental targets. You will act as the champion for all environmental, sustainable development and climate change matters relevant to the SPPA, and support sustainable procurement practices.

Please note that this role will be predominantly office based at Tweedbank carrying out essential duties.

People Development Advisor

We are looking for someone to deliver a professional People Development service that supports managers and colleagues to ensure that the agency strategic aims are delivered successfully. You will aid in creating and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, while acting as a role model and managing the implementation of change to ensure that benefits are fully adopted. You will lead by example in the development of staff behaviours that result in organisational and cultural change, driving SPPA to provide a team approach to all that we do.
