Engage Pension Portal

- login or create an account
- what is coming in the future
We have launched a new online pension portal for you to have quick and easy access to information about your pension scheme, including your statements. Over time, the Engage portal will replace both MyPension Online and MSS and will become a single point of entry for members to access their pension documents and review and amend personal information.
Who can access Engage
To ensure a smooth and reliable service from launch, we are releasing the portal in phases. In this first phase, the portal is available to:
- NHS scheme members who are working and paying into their pension
- Teacher scheme members who are working and paying into their pension
Access to Engage will be rolled out to our remaining NHS, Teachers, Police and Firefighter scheme members at a later date. We will inform members when this happens.
What you can and cannot do on Engage
Can
In this version of our Engage portal, you can:
- create an account
- access your 2025 Annual Benefit Statement (ABS) or ABS-RSS if you are impacted by the 2015 Remedy - these will be available to view on 31 August
- update your email address, phone number, and home address
If you update your personal details on Engage, please ensure that you have also informed your employer about these changes.
Cannot
In this version of our Engage portal, you cannot:
- view your previous ABS and other pension documents
- nominate who receives your pension when you die, also known as your beneficiaries
If you need to view previous pension documents or update your beneficiaries, you can do so by logging in to your MyPension Online account. If you don't have an account, you can contact us by using our online webform.
Login or create an account
Members of our NHS and Teacher schemes who are paying into their pension can register now.
To create an account, you’ll need:
- your National Insurance Number
- your activation code if we sent you an activation letter
From 1 September, the SPPA will send all members who can access Engage either an activation letter or email inviting them to create an account.
What is coming in the future
As we move through each phase, we will be adding new features for members. Some features to look out for include:
- updating your bank details if you are in receipt of your pension
- access other pension documents, such as your pension payslip and P60
- nominate who will receive your pension when you die
