Engage Pension Portal

We have launched a new online pension portal for you to have quick and easy access to information about your pension scheme, including your statements. Over time, the Engage portal will replace both MyPension Online and MSS and will become a single point of entry for members to access their pension documents and review and amend personal information.
Who can access Engage
You can access Engage if you are:
- paying into one of our NHS, Teachers, Police or Firefighter pension schemes
- retired and receiving your NHS, Teachers, Police or Firefighter pension
What you can and cannot do on Engage (NHS and Teachers)
You can:
- access your pension documents, such as Annual Benefit Statement or pension payslips
- update your email address, phone number, and home address
- update your bank details if you are retired
If you are working and update your personal details on Engage, please ensure that you have also informed your employer about these changes.
You cannot:
- view historic ABS documents if you are still paying into the pension scheme
- nominate who receives your pension when you die, also known as your beneficiaries
If you need to view previous pension documents or update your beneficiaries, you can do so by logging in to your MyPension Online account. If you don't have an account, you can contact us by using our online webform.
What you can and cannot do on Engage (Police and Firefighters)
You can:
- view your pension documents (ABS, P60s, etc.)
- view and update your personal details
- view and update your bank details
- contact SPPA directly through your account
If you update your personal details on Engage, please ensure that you have also informed your employer about these changes.
You cannot:
- Manage and update your beneficiaries
- View your scheme membership and pension details
These features will be coming to Engage in the future. We will contact members when these are available.
Login
Viewing your pension payslip online
Please note that the Engage portal cannot provide you with an automated notification when new payslips are published. Members are advised to login a few days before their usual pension payment date.
Create your account
To create an account, you’ll need:
- your National Insurance Number
- your Date of Birth
- an email address that matches what we hold on our system
Your email address matches
If these details match the details we hold on our system, we will send you an email with a link.
Follow the instructions in the email to finish creating your account.
Your email address doesn't match
If the details don't match the details we hold on our system, we will send you a letter with an activation code.
Once you receive the letter, return to the registration page and click on 'I have an activation code' to create your account.
